About Me
Comal Cool es una banda de rock dificil de clasificar por sus numerosas influencias, de las que encontrareis un buen despliegue en el apartado dedicado a ello, también las diferencias de edades entre sus miembros contribuiyen a la teoria de que Comal Cool más que un grupo es un sello propio, que ha costado muchos años conseguir, y donde no solo el sonido es importante, sino que el concepto y la actitud de la banda son primordiales. Nos emocionamos cuando componemos, nos dejamos llevar por la música que hacemos, y no importan los canones estipulados, por lo que no será extraño encontar temas que no tienen estribillo o que no tienen solos o todo lo contarrio, todo cabe y todo es posible, creemos en la magia del rock y de la música y para ello vivimos tal y como lo creemos . El escenario es el que demuestra nuestra verdadera cara que nunca queda plasmada en el disco, nos gusta el directo y hacemos música para el directo. En cuanto a los grupos que admiramos, son tantos y dispares, que no hay sitio suficiente para describirlos, aunque nos emocionan muchas veces grupos que no estan en el gran mercado discográfico (ver el caso de Vacazul - www.vacazul.es). Admiramos tambien grupos locales muy cercanos a nosotros, como es el caso de The Happiness Project (www.thehappinessproject.net). En difinitiva lo que hacemos, lo hacemos porque nos gusta y lo que nos sale, es lo que sabemos, ni más ni menos. La banda se formo allá por el 2002 y aún curramos para encontrar "El sonido más cool".
