Brute and catchy riffs, harmonic parts and melodious, powerful vocals – these are the main ingredients Nump produce their music with.
Since every band member adds a different part to the overall impression, there’s no lack of influences. A mixture of classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd or Genesis, bands like Staind as well as Creed and progressive metal is the result. People visiting the concerts easily take to the diversified songs, whose melodies will remind in the ear although the music is pretty hard.

Man nehme brachiale und eingängige Gitarren-Riffs, harmonische Parts und dazu melodiösen, kräftigen Gesang - die Hauptzutaten der Musik von Nump.
Einflüsse gibt es zuhauf, denn jeder der fünf Musiker fügt seinen Teil zum musikalischen Gesamtbild dazu. Das Ergebnis ist ein Mix aus dem Rock der Altmeister, wie Pink Floyd oder Genesis, aus Bands wie Staind oder Creed bis hin zum Progressive Metal. Wer die Konzerte der Gruppe besucht, findet schnell Gefallen an den abwechslungsreichen Songs, deren Melodien trotz der Härte der Musik gefühlvoll sind und im Ohr bleiben.

2006 veröffentlichte die Band ihr erstes Album mit dem Titel "Sigh Of Relief". Hier ein paar Zitate aus den Kritiken des Albums:
