Naquit au début de 2005 Castigare, des volontés de ses membres de créer un métal à la fois agressif et mélodieux ; volontés d'ailleurs avérées, le groupe ayant pondu plusieurs compositions toutes en français. Un premier concert en novembre 2005 très bien accueilli par le public atteste la brutale entrée en scène de Castigare,Et l'histoire ne fait que commencer Born at the beginning of 2005, Castigare, from their member's wishes to create an agressive yet melodic metal, wishes accomplished, the band composed many songs and are all written in french.
