I'm a science fiction, fantasy, horror, and children's lit. writer, a columnist, and an editor. Publication highlights: Stories in Realms of Fantasy, Interzone, The 3rd Alternative, Fantasy Magazine, Cricket, Apex Digest, Paradox, Aberrant Dreams, Escape Pod and Pseudopod, Cicada, and numerous anthologies including Best New Fantasy (Wildside Press), Magic in the Mirrorstone: Tales of Fantasy (Mirrorstone Books), So Fey (Haworth Press), Heroes In Training (DAW Books), and Best New Romantic Fantasy 2 (Juno Books). My articles and and interviews have appeared in Strange Horizons, Fantasy Magazine, the Internet Review of Science Fiction, Writing-World, and Absolute Write. I also co-authored a Psychology textbook with my advisor when I was in graduate school, published by Allyn & Bacon, and I pen a monthly column: Writing for Young Readers .
