A LITTLE NOTE FOR MY 'FRIENDS'...I'm here for general networking with other musicians or people who like & appreciate my music. I like to think I get along with everyone, but if I deny you as a 'friend', please don't take it personally. It's probably either because you're a gangsta rap or death metal artist, or a porn star wanna-be, or you've been spamming me with stupid stuff on the bulletin page and I've deleted you, or you're just looking for chicks to fill up your home page. Sorry...Okay...I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and moved to Nashville several years ago to work at Opryland USA Theme Park. Since those glorious days, I've met and worked with so many awesome musicians...(in the studio, on the road, overseas, in the garage...).I had a rock band called JADE (we had the name first!), where I sang lead/background & played keys & guitar. (Maybe I'll put a JADE page on MySpace...we're in the studio now recording some old tunes!) Our influences were Rush, Styx, Heart, Queensryche, TNT, Journey, Kansas...I could go on; you know, melodic rock. Blah blah blah...we didn't get signed. End of JADE.I started getting studio work, then tapped into the corporate market and eventually got some artist gigs. I've worked with Alabama, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood, Shane McAnally, Lorrie Morgan, Sara Evans, Mickey Thomas, Pam Tillis, etc. I've performed on The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno, Farm Aid, the Grand Ole Opry, the CMA Awards, The Wayne Brady Show, The Ryan Seacrest Show, Broadway Meets Country, shared the stage with Aretha Franklin & Chuck Berry, asked Donny Osmond for a backup singing job, performed the Brady Bunch theme song onstage with Barry Williams (aka Greg Brady!)....Blah blah blah....still didn't get signed.These days, I keep busy with studio work (jingles, demos, sound-alikes, masters) and free-lance with a bunch of bands around town, including but not limited to, DELICIOUS (www.deliciouslovesyou.com). And we're not signed, because we're a cover band! Hello...
