The project's name is made of two powerful roots which can be found in hundreds of words throughout most Slavic and other languages. Roughly the oldest meanings of these two roots can probably be translated as "Power" (Sil) and "Concord" (Veth) For many years Sil Veth laid semi-dormant within the confines of various residences and rehearsal spaces, as its ever-changing line-up fearlessly led by Alex toiled away at the interesting arrangements and deep lyrical content. A new era has began in March 2007, with Alex turning his full and proper attention to the band. Material is being recorded and updates and sound clips are posted on our MySpace blog as well as www.SilVeth.com A self-released EP is scheduled for the summer of 2007, check back often. Thank you for the tremendous support and encouragement.
