CyberGuy, Kurt Knutsson, certainly carved out a niche for himself as the energetic, fun loving technology guide who connects millions of people to the future. It started in 1996 with one TV station and his popularity for making the digital world easy to understand is now seen coast to coast as the most watched technology report in just about every major U.S. city. Now, his online video and tv tech features are reaching 48 million people the world over.

Kurt's curiosity of technology and gadgets began as a young boy who disassembled and dissected nearly every electronic device in his Mom and Dad's house. From the home intercom system to the garage door opener and nightstand radio, Kurt couldn't be pulled away from his first computer and love of technology. From the titans of technology to celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Kurt's as comfortable sitting down to interview the likes of eBay's Meg Whitman, Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Microsoft's Steve Ballmer as he is taking a homeless man by the hand in a downtown mission to show how uncollected money found online was waiting to be claimed.

Living in Los Angeles, superstars like athlete Shaquille O'Neal embrace Kurt, literally, when it comes to finding out about the hottest technology.Maybe that's because they watch Kurt try just about anything to put technology to the test, like his experiment of living cooped up in his Cyber Bus for a week. Yes, he survived and was awarded the Columbia University Journalism Award for his fresh approach. And more recently, he survived Hurricane Katrina trapped in downtown New Orleans. The compelling experience of the disaster shared to viewers put a new face on the CyberGuy. Kurt rigged an old analog phone and was able to give an up-close and personal account of the best and worse of the human experience. As food supplies ran low, he built alliances to share his melted KitKat bars, stale muffins and survival strategy. By text messaging a helicopter he was lifted to safety - a life changing event.

Kurt's involvement in charitable activities help inspire children to think big, tap technology to assist those who are confined to a wheelchair, and continues to aid in the recovery of Katrina.
