About Me
.. ....... ....... I'm a songwriter for other artists and bands, finally making the transition to performing my own songs. I'm now in the studio recording the tracks for my debut solo album. Sam is more well-known as a poet, having won awards in the US, Canada, and the UK. Before that, Sam was a singer-songwriter, and recently, he returned to to his original love - music. Sam has two project albums: PROOF is a project album featuring artists performing Sam Parr-penned songs. Including "Little Black Dress" and "Let This Be the Last Time", the collection brings together - among others - west-coast band Reckonition, gospel artist Paul Grai, and pop-rock artist Ryan Po. 316 is a project solo album. Collaborations have included the bands Reckoniton, Jericho's Ladder, Jamm, gospel artist Paul Grai, and pop-rock artist Ryan Po. I'm also starting an exciting collaboration with Katlyn Lowe, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter. So challenge me.
