Debut album "Stories From Yesterday" Fall 2008 Led by front man and guitarist Matt Lande, Justin Sena on drums and guitarist Conrad Bauer, "Heaven Is Where" is bursting onto the Los Angeles music scene seemingly out of nowhere but just maybe you've seen these guys separately, somewhere before. With an exciting live show and texture of paint splattered musical influences all the way from Annie Lennox and Savage Garden to The Killers, Placebo, HIM, Muse and 30 Seconds To Mars, "Heaven Is Where" is reaching a large and varied audience. The intimate lyrics and passionate melodies along with keyboard and guitar driven music cause an interaction between sadness and happiness...hate and love...loss and gain...hell and heaven! Matt Lande: (Vocals/Guitar) Matt is an accomplished singer/songwriter/musician/producer originally from New York. Touring all over the country and playing with bands in Florida, Michigan, Virginia, Nashville and Los Angeles, his reputation precedes him. As former lead guitarist, backing vocalist and co-songwriter in the band, Storyside B, he toured and released an album titled "Everything And More" on Gotee Records. The album, which is distributed by EMI, has sold over 30,000 copies worldwide to date and landed them the Best New Artist Debut on the billboard charts in 06’. Now, after his time with Storyside B, Matt has returned as lead singer in his new band, "Heaven Is Where". Justin Sena: (Drums) Starting on piano early in life, Justin later replaced the ivory's with drums, finding that beating things with sticks was much more fun then studying music theory and way more accommodating to his short attention span or lack thereof. After college Justin made the attempt to combine his passion for music with his college education and began managing bands and artists with Skyline Exposure. Above representing music artists, Justin's true passion lies in being the artist and performing, which brought him together with longtime friend, Matt Lande as he now plays drums for "Heaven Is Where". Conrad Bauer: (Lead Guitar/Vocals) Conrad started his musical endeavors at a very young age. when playing the recorder in grade school didn't cut it, he opted for Cello and stuck with it through all four years of high school. He picked up the guitar in sixth grade after hearing "Eruption" by Van Halen and after highschool, preceded to study music at musicians institute and graduate with a GIT certificate. His main influences are Ludwig Van Beethoven, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Dream Theater to name a few.
