It€™s probably the soulful, funky house and sexy latin style of music we play. We touch on the whole electroclash, emo guitar rock revival with strap on synthesizers and a 6ft dominatrix screaming in French €˜cos that what the kids like. Once they€™re open we give em a history lesson. If it€™s a wedding, tour, Anzac dawn service, a soul jam or midnight mass at a nightclub with a banging sound system and intelligent lighting, it€™s trumpeting and I luf it!I have a doppelganger too and he gets into some weird shit!€like sonic sculpting with a minimalist approach to the subtleties of psychoacoustics and dynamic sense of spontaneous foley have landed me in bands and productions that are diverse in style and possess a broad scope for expression. Palettes of tone and texture are derived from my collection of classic synths, retro keyboards, samplers, recordings and desirable effects hardware patched together in always varying combinations providing infinite spectrums of aural treats. A collaborative involvement on over 50 releases, here and abroad along with a live schedule of around 150 gigs a year and tours to Europe and the US has kept me busy in the scene for 20 years.
