| At the age of 5 I started learning piano and began dancing with Pamela Chater School of Dance, up to the age of 14,I began my singing career when I was 19, because someone heard me singing on my doorstep and needed a session singer for a rock band in Litchfield. This lead to me recording lead and backing vocals with Kenny Young (who wrote under the boardwalk) in Oxfordshire. It was the biggest studio I had ever seen!Later I joined a writer in Oxfordshire called Kevin Mason, who wrote his own music for the likes of Ertha Kitt. We formed a little group called Torq. Interest from a sub label of Sony led to nearly releasing a single, but due to label politics this never cam to fruition. Subsequently I decided to pursue other avenues and left Torq.In 1994 EMIs Elayne Smith, after hearing a demo visited my home in hopes of signing me for a single. Unfortunately label politics prevented the deal going through.After a short hiatus I became the lead singer for Urban Vibe. Urban Vibe gained a dedicated following and interest from Tammy Coleman (Chaka Khans sister) who wanted to manage me with the assistance of Howard McRary. After lengthy negotiations we were unable to agree contractual terms.Urban Vibe decided to call it a day which led to me going solo.My solo career started by me teaming up with Diehard Media Records and creating my debut CD Unconditional. This project found me singing with talents like Myron and Jarrard. Two Hearts the first single featured Myron. This track has been picked up by several compilations.
