Licorea was formed in 2002, when Bart withdrew from Indukti . At the same time Filar and Rowek became a lonesome rhythm section, after Bian’s singer had emigrated to Ohio. The three forlorn decided to set up a band, in order to exercise one amother by mental torture. The basic line-up crystallised is 2004, when Yony, who had been expelled from Rootwater , joined the band and Rowek's place was taken over by Pablo(ex-Rootwater). From the outset Licore could not attract any singer for a longer period of time. Eventually in 2006 Licorea was joined by Robert, known from Carnal , but that line-up did not stand the test of time. In May 2007 Bart gave up playing the guitar. At the beginning of 2008 Tomek joined Licorea. In February Licorea won the first edition of “Nasza Strona (M)Rock’a” - a festival in Grodzisk Maz. The prize was a recording session, which resulted in recording Licorea’s songs. During the session, Yony quitted Licorea.
