WAS FORMED IN A COUNTRY THAT DOESN’T SUPPORT METAL AT ALL. NO RECORD LABLES.NO MAGS OR FESTIVALS TO BACK IT UP.. ABSENTATION WAS ORIGINALLY FORMED IN 2001 UNDER THE NAME (EPITAPH) AND THE MEMBERS WERE,SALAH(GUITAR AND VOCALS),RAAFAT(GUITAR AND BASS) . BUT THE BAND SPLIT UP IN LATE 2002.. THEN IN LATE 2003,SALAH FORMED ABSENTATION ,AND COULDN’T FIND ANYONE WHO IS ABLE TO PLAY THIS EXTREME GENERE.. SO IT STARTED AS A ONE MAN PROJECT,AND HE RECORDED HIS FIRST DEMO IN 2004, WHICH WAS REMIXED AND RELEASED IN 2005 AS AN EP ALBUM TITLED(DEATH CHAPTER).. THEN IN MID 2006,RAAFAT,AND HADI JOINED ABSENTATION, STARTED WORKING ON THE NEXT ALBUM.. THE ALBUM WAS RECORDED AND MASTERED IN EARLY 2007 ENTITLED(MENTAL BATTLE RESURRECTION).. THEN ABSENTATION SIGN WITH AMERICAN RECORD LABEL CALLED ADARK PHILOSOPHY RECORDS, SO,MENTAL BATTLE RESURRECTION WILL RELEASE BY ADP RECORDS WORLD WIDE, raafat left the band in late of 2007, and ABSENTATION will continue the journey to spread the world with out any mercy to keep the death metal alive , then salah met wael the bass player, and wael join the band to record 2008 album titled(claves inferni), then raafat back to the band to spread the chaos and corruption with emperor nuctulius ABSENTATION NOW IN STUDIO RECORDING THE NEW ALBUM TO RELEASE IT WORLD WIDE,For More Information visit our official web site..
