| I am currently in the studio working on my second CD. The title- I Know. It will be completed this summer! My favorite song I have ever written is Promise...check that one out!My debut CD is available at www.cdbaby.com/cd/alexptaylor and on iTunes!!!It’s honest and straight-forward. It’s about love and loss. It’s about appreciation and redemption- lessons and themes that are universal to us all.Sometimes, the biggest challenge in life is to just be yourself and be comfortable with your make and model number. So, my goal is for people to listen to the lyrics and feel better about who and what they are to the world…Stop Signs and Red Lights, is about finding yourself during the times when you are being held back from the big journey taking you where you need to be.I saved a lot of money while I was recording this album. No, I didn’t switch my insurance to Geico. I actually used this album as a sort of therapy. It helped me really get a firm grasp on what I wanted for my life. Great, Just Another Word and Suburbia are fine examples of this…On My Floor is one of my favorite songs. It is the song I wrote for my friend Adam after he passed away. His death was actually the reason I chose to pursue my music. The album is dedicated to him and also my friend Nichole who passed away far too soon. They were both only in their twenties.I recorded my debut album, Stop Signs and Red Lights, at SherStudios in Southington, CT, under the wisdom and guidance of Jamie Sherwood whose twenty-five years of experience in the performing and producing world of music only added more power to the momentum that would become my first album.
