After over a year of being The Ruckus, we have become a band that is like everything and nothing you've ever heard before. We have been described as "hard blues riff rock" which I believe sums us up pretty well.

It all began when 2 longtime friends began living together. Lee and Don spent their days writing music together and jamming whenever possible. Wanting to form a band they started looking for a drummer and a bass player. They found a hard hitting drummer known as Mike who joined in on the making of raucous noise. Next someone who could hold down the low end was needed. Mike called an old friend, Geoff, who was the last piece of the puzzle.

Not wanting to follow the trend of radio rock, they made something unique together. You know the trend where every band comes from the same cookie cutter. Where many bands write the same song. You know who I am talking about. With this they slapped together their influences of blues, classic rock, metal and everything in between.

Now we want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who keep coming to our shows. You know who you are. Also to anyone who has seen us once before, we hope to see you again. To people who haven't seen a gig, come on down and party with The Ruckus.
