| Born in Shreveport, LA, Shelia began singing with her family's gospel band at at the age of 4. As she grew up, she began doing solo performances, accompanying herself on the piano. Having sang gospel all of her life, Shelia wanted to branch out and explore other genres and found that she had a knack for blues and folk rock. She spent several years fronting blues, rock, classic rock, and funk bands and performing blues acoustically. Shelia currently makes her home in San Antonio, TX with her husband Richard.
