| The music of composer, guitarist and Tin Whistle player Olaf Sickmann is an unique mixture of Irish music, Classical music, Mediterranean music and Film music. The folk press calls him one of the "best German guitar and Tin Whistle players" (Folkmagazin). His album “Sommertiefe” (2004) was broadcast on radio worldwide, used as film music and was promoted on the cover of an Australian Celtic Music Magazin. Olaf Sickmann is under contract to Peter Finger (Wonderland Records), one of the world..s most successful artists, publisher and producer of acoustic guitar music. He has made a name for himself within the German Irish Folk Scene, especially as an outstanding Tin Whistle player and composer of numerous Session tunes which are also now being played in Ireland.
