Music:Member Since: 4/26/2006Band Website: magentathieves.co.uk Band Members: LINDSEY : Vocals Lindsey claims she did a lot of singing round the pubs in Teesside before going to uni to study performing arts in 2001. We think she was selling crab sticks. She completed her course (of anti depressants) in 2004 and did some acting and singing work in the Yorkshire and Birmingham area. Rumour has it she was sent home cos they couldn’t understand her. Since then she says she’s been a lazy mare for 2 years but is gagging to get on stage…. ps she loves Shake and Vac ADRIAN : Drums / Vocals The keeper of the beat (most of the time) or more affectionally known as the bloke who sits at the back. He has sat at the back for many a band- Left for Dead, Creed (not the American Stadium Rockers, but the Felling Pub Crawlers) and most recently 70's throwbacks, The Star Spangled Chestwigs. Influenced by Animal from the Muppets and the bloke from Trumpton PAUL : Bass / Vocals Plays the bass guitar and sings (occasionally at the same time). Formerly a member of intergalactic popsters, Frogstar B, & 70's throwbacks, The Star Spangled Chestwigs, his thoughts are as deep as the notes he extracts from his beloved bass guitar. His special powers include levitation of small mammals and unrivalled off the ball running. Paul's favourite colour is brown and his favourite food is clams. DAVEY : Guitar / Mandolin Davey is the outdoor type in the band, he spends many happy hours in his magic walled gardens. He has the ability to control the garden's microclimate by the powers of though alone. This results in a bumper crop of monster vegetables. The vegetables also benefit from Davey's habit of playing 'Greensleeves' to them on his electric mandolin. Davey's pride and joy is his 1988 Nissan Sunny 1.3L and it is the envy of all his friends. His other love is cookery, his former bands include 'Hell's Kitchen' famed for their wild onstage catering displays to accompaniment of folk music. His signature dish is Cheese Soufflé and his favourite item of clothing is his turtleneck sweeter BILLY : Guitar Billy is the lead guitarist and plays a Guinness coloured Les Paul. His interests include arable farming & he builds domestic robots, which carry out all his household chores. Billy's special powers extend to his motor car, which magically changes colour under streetlights, to the delight of all his friends. He also has the uncanny ability to take on the form of Noel Edmonds whenever he senses danger. Billy's favourite item of clothing is his cheesecloth shirt & his favourite tipple is Crème de Menthe -buy him one next time you see the band! _____________________________________________________ PAST MEMBERS _____________________________________________________ KAZ BABES -Vocals 2004 till 2006 : Karen left the band on, due to her work commitents and wanting to spead more time with her daughter, she was finding it hard to give her all to the band. So we wish her all the luck in the future with her new job and what every she has planned, and would like to thank her for the last 2 years. LYDIA - Vocals : Late 2006 till March 2007 A cracking young lass, with a cracking voice.
