| Seven years back Zac Pirillo was an aspiring guitarist playing in and out of blues and rock bands, respecting all that is music. Finally turned 21, old enough to go to the clubs and see the hottest acts in town, it was then he came across American Grease. The drummer, Bobby Stocker, caught his eye and ear with his great rhythms and stunning image, he said, Ive got to meet that guy. A few open mic jams later would open the door to a great musical experience and friendship. Back then, they experimented in a lot of acoustic stuff, Bobby would sit down with two djembes and Zac with an acoustic guitar. Bobbys influences of Cozy Powell, Ansley Dunbar, James Brown, David Garibaldi to name a few and Zac tuned into Jimi Hendrix, Dickie Betts, Jerry Garcia, and Trey Anastasio. With the presence of smooth jams their sound headed in a direction that everyone enjoys listening to. Forward to the present, Bobby has added a bass drum, snare drum, two congas, and bongos on top, 3 splash cymbals, and the djembes. Zac on his hollow body electric guitar, add the loop station to fashion a phantom rhythm player, you might just think there is a full band on stage. Playing original songs and also those from Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Allmans, Bob Dylan, and Rolling Stones with a twist that welcomes boundary-pushing leads and shape throwing excursions that only Zac and Bobby can deliver.
