Music:THE DOORS!! Raised on classic rock & southern rock - stuck with me. Still love 80's hair bands and not afraid to admit it (embarassed, yes, afraid - hell, I'm an Aries, I don't scare easily!) Alternative, grunge, R&B, classic disco, punk, and sometimes 80's freestyle (when I'm in the mood!). Growing to like alternative country. Oh, and there is nothing like smooth jazz or classical with a nice glass of pinot grigio after a long day's work. I guess there isn't much I don't like, except almost everything on NY radio lately! |

Television:Law & Order: especially SVU. Hardly ever watch primetime, except for my newest guilty pleasure: Rockstar Supernova. In my defense, there are 2 long islanders, one of which I have seen perform (Jill) and the other I am a fan of his music with his old band (Ryan). Occasionally the SciFi channel has something interesting. Besides that, if it isn't football or football related, I'm probably watching a movie that I've seen 20 times on cable! |

Books:HUGE Stephen King fan. Been reading Dean Koontz' Midnight - loving it when I have the time! Planning on getting back to Life of Pi when I'm done. My bookshelf consists mostly of King, Koontz, Anne Rice, James Patterson, Greek classics, a ton of books on mythology (any kind), art history, native american culture & spirituality, and Buddhism (just an interest, not a practicing). The Odyssey, Brave New World, and Utopia are my favs. |
