We're REALLY picky about what goes on the front page. We get about 100 new albums a DAY coming in here now, (about 100,000 total), and yours is one of the best I've ever heard.OUR REVIEW It's the mid 00's, and the concept of fusing metal and hip hop is no longer a novelty, as it has actually survived long enough to stand on its own and work its way into the mainstream. Offering a refreshing take on a style of music that some would argue is past its prime, we find this group of "Six" from Arizona dopting a very successful approach: While the guitars are certainly prevalent, the concentration is wisely focused on the vocals, where the female and male lead take turns bouncing and feeding off one another. While she holds steady with trancy leads that wouldn't be out of place on an 80's synth pop dance record (this is a good thing), he lets the lyrics flow brashly but not harshly, adding an element that completely defines the sound. I'm sure they've been compared to Evanescence enough, but fans of that style of music who are looking for a more ambitious and intelligent approach will not be disappointed by this one.
