The Allstars Collective are proud to announce the release of our debut album entitled 'ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC'.It's a collection of ten original tunes, drawing influences from our peers; Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye and other soul/funk legends.The title track is sung by none other than soul diva JOCELYN BROWN and is produced by Average White Band frontman, HAMISH STUART, who also graces us with his unique soulful vocal talents.As well as the amazing playing & singing of the members of the Allstars, the album also features jazz guitar legend, JIM MULLEN and soul royal family member ANGELO STARR (brother of Edwin) singing the closing track.A rare feature of the album is that there is not one sequenced note on the whole thing! Every note & beat was either sung or played live and in real time...you know, the way great albums USED to be made and for that, we are very proud.ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC is getting some great reviews ( check the Soulchoonz.com one!! ) and has entered the UK Soul Charts @ No.8!, just behind Chaka Khan, Jill Scott and Angie Stone - not a bad group to be part of!Have a listen to the snippets on our Profile Player and if you like what you hear, you can purchase the album from AMAZON and CD Baby as well as downloading it from iTunes.
