In addition, he’s the founder and the owner of the mark GETTSOME, which is the name of a movement that brought along a group called “DA GETTSOME GANG”, which includes RIZ-TAC and member Charles James, better known as Chuckie.Dwelling from the West Bank of New Orleans, LA (Gretna), R.I.Z was exposed to music at a young age. But it wasn’t until the fall of 2001 while attending Mcneese State University in Lake Charles, La when he began to take music serious. Dropping numerous mix tapes with rap group GETTSOME, R.I.Z really began to make a name for him self. Known for including his education with his street smarts in his lyrics, R.I.Z is one of the few rappers in the industry with a college degree backing him. He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Mcneese State University in May of 2006, proving that he’s a well educated, versatile, and mature young man.RIZ-TAC’s work ethic and music speaks for itself. Over the past two years he has opened for many mainstream artists such as Juvenile, Pimp-C, Lil Boosie, Lil Webbie, and Cupid, as well as many other acts such as Raw Dizzy, Mugsy, Lil Cali, and many more.
