| I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. After graduating from the Univeristy of Maryland with a degree in Journalism, I moved to San Diego in 1997. For the next few years I worked for the San Diego Union-Tribune where I was fortunate to learn a lot and make some great friends. A job offer and family drew me back to Maryland in 2000. After meeting my now husband Toby in November 2000, I returned to San Diego with him in the spring of 2001. In 2004 we moved to Orange County, California, got married, and adopted our sweet little cocker spaniel Cobi. Recently, we moved to Phoenix, Arizona so that Toby could pursue a job promotion.
