About Me
"on the rroxx" Publicity provides exceptional services in public relations, promotions, and endorsements; along with tour, label and artist representation. I am DRUG FREE and refuse to be brought down by the losers that arent.I spent too many years waging war on myself and am happy to say I won the battle. My main strong point is accountability and credibility...I also refuse to be brought down by deceitful losers. My heart lies with the people of this world that have endured struggles in life that I cant even imagine enduring.Any stuggle can happen to us at any time so I stay aware of my things to be thankful for. My Entertainment Bug started when I maintained a "Real Job" as a Buyer for an Transformer Company in Ohio. From there was transfered to Houston Texas in 1979 and soon worked for Louis Messina and Gary Becker with Pace Concerts.It started at The Texas Opera House working with new upcoming artists such as "John Cougar" (Mellencamp) along with many others at that time actually breaking into the Music Business.I was fortunate to actually work very closely with a wide range of artists getting started such as,Gregg Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughn,ZZ Top,Journey,Heart, and the list is endless. Worked with The Rolling Stones on the "Steel Wheels Tour in 1989. Started working Press areas at all Texxas Jams and soon met contacts to get into different phases. .Have worked closely (and not as a Stage Hand) with a number of artist from The 80's "Big Hair Bands" to Willie and most of his 4th of July Picnics in Austin Also with Waylon,Johnny Cash,and Kris I have worked in a lot of different phases in "The Industry" but for some reason have seemed to stay with it. Have done Radio Films& Film Making Videos Marketing&Promotions Line Producing been a P.A.(not real proud) but it was experience Managed all types of Nightclubs and of course DJ Will be submitting My Film " The Un-Sung Hero" in 2009's Nasville Film Festival... There is so much more that I havent experienced in life and am always looking for a new opportunity. I try not to take things for granted that I used to because of my wake up call.Being a 3x Cancer Survivor,God spared me and has offered me the chance to see what else this world holds whether it is good or bad.I am ready for all new experiences. They are the Homeless, the born again, the old-time giggers, the musical hopefuls and, on rare occasion, the aspiring classical musician. They plant themselves in front of some of Nashville's most notable merchant shops - no license required - hoping tourists will toss loose bills and change into their tip cans and instrument cases.One on One interviews on how they came to Nashville with a dream, only to end up on the streets taken by an "IdolMaker" shattered dreams,or getting their priorities on life itself mixed up living on the Streets.I will be submitting it in The 2009 Nashville Film Festival.
