| OK, I admit it. I cheated My Space. I have 8 songs on here instead of 6. It's just hard to make up my mind which songs I want to post. Hey everybody. I am a drummer/percussionist who does Hired Gun work(live, tours, studio work, and teaching). If you are in need of a drummer/percussionist, write me or call me (661 257 8910)and tell what you need. I have been playing for 30 years and have been teaching for about 20 years. I did a bunch of tours like Jesus Christ Superstar(with Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson), Tommy(3rd track above live recording, obviously the mics were too close to the drum set, "I Believe My Own Eyes"and "21"), Evita, A Chorus Line,We Will Rock You and played with some really great musicians like the band Estradasphere and I did a recording with the singer from Toto. Did the Music Major thing at Cal Arts and got my Bachelors degree in World Music/Percussion where I took lessons from John Bergamo(Frank Zappa), Tootie Heath(famous jazz drummer), Efrain Toro(studio drummer). Any way, here are some projects that I have done as a sample of my playing, versatility, and creativity. One of the songs was recorded in my studio, Just A Simple Jam which is not mastered. I had some great musicians contribute to the recording of these songs like the guys from Estradasphere(Hardball), Daren Burns(Trio Sonata, Sesame Street, bass), Adam Keeney(guitar on Trio Sonanta), and singer/song writer- Danyl Johnson( Dangerous River- vocals) Kevin Kmetz(guitar on Trio Sonata, Sesame Street)and Tracie Miller(bass on Dangerous River, Simple Jam)Dan Cowan(sax on "Dangerous River")from my old band, Lefty's Head, and Mike Stockman(guitar and composed Simple Jam). The Cal Arts Percussion Ensemble performed and recorded "Near Christmas" at Lockheed where they engineered the Stealth Fighter, believe it or not.
