| I'm really into music, it's an escape from the daily grind. Without it I think I would go crazy. Im also into photography quite a bit. You can see some of my work in my blog. It has a link to my photobucket account. You can also catch me on Model Mayhem #433306. I DJ, spinning mostly dnb, but i also spin hip hop, downtempo, some breaks and some house. I co-own a record label based out of San Diego called Funk you andsoul.Check www.myspace.com/funkyouandsoul. We focus on funky music in drum and bass, hip hop, and house/breaks. We are always looking for up and coming artists. plz send any tunes you would like considered to aim - djfrizz1. I run with a few different DJ/production crews in San Diego. The first and longest is called Vinyl Elements. One of the most creative and forward thinking collectives in San Diego. In addition to that I help host a sunday night at the Red C Lounge downtown called Liquid. It's a liquid funk/soulful drum n bass night. Very good stuff. I am an owner at the Hive Sushi Lounge downtown on 14th and C. www.myspace.com/hivesushilounge. We are one of the best sushi spots in the city. Located in East Village we aren't the typical downtown restaurant. We have GREAT sushi, DJ's spinning downtempo, reggae, and trip hop Thur-Sat nights, and a giant projection screen where we always have something interesting .. in and say hello sometime. I'm always looking for cool new folks that enjoy music and the atmosphere it provides. |
