Off Mind was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. He went to the city of Mexico to study cinematography where he began making his own music: he did diverse compositions for his films projects. Later when he moved back his home city to continue his cinematographic career, he continued the musical productions focusing on electronic sounds. His first production was in trance (which you can check on his soundclick artist page), and later he began to experiment and fuse different types of genres to achieve complete melodic and rhythmic transformation. The name of Off Mind is born from a mental condition or state that takes place when you remain totally saturated by the music. This is the short biography after several conversations with Eduardo, who I noticed on the Formulate remix competition organized by Proton Radio. "From Mexico comes Eduardo Gonzlez, this contest's surprise hit. Off Mind delivers the best breaks remix we received, featuring an amazing introduction and breakdown. If this remix is any indication of things to come, Off Mind will definitely be a name to watch in the coming months. A personal favorite of Jay Epoch." And I shall agree with that. He does music which combines nicely layered melodies and live instruments, but adding strong electronic sounding and hard beating rythm on the top.
