My family had moved to Florida in July of 1994. I left in October 1994 to move to Florida to straighten up my life. I had very big dreams then about my future and where I wanted to go and be doing. I truly wanted to move to NY and work anywhere/anything to do with Broadway. I became pregnant 6 months after I had moved there. So, obviously, my plans had changed.I have lupus, I was diagnosed in 1997 at the age of 25 after the birth of my first child. It can be very debilitating. There is no cure. People don't understand this disease and how it can affect the quality of life of someone with this disease....we may look totally normal on the outside and look healthy. But the real truth is that it affects us on the inside, physically and emotionally. Please go to The Lupus Foundation of New England and support us! Or visit Lupus.org. One of my all time favorites in country music is Toby Keith, and I also love Extreme (although they are no longer a band) and they are performing some reunions here in New England!
