| Sanoe Lake was born and raised a free spirit on the magical island of Kaua'i where she grew up surfing. She began modeling internationally at the age of 15. As a teen Sanoe came onto the scene representing a new style of "surfer girl" in the action sports industry earning herself the title "Princess of Surf." Shattering the typical sterotypes, Sanoe remains true to her creative nature. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California where she acts, writes, makes music and paints. Sanoe is a face and international ambassador of Billabong Girls and their Design For Humanity campaign. Her acting career began with starring in the Blockbuster hit " Blue Crush." The film secured Sanoe the role of " emerging talent " (LA Times) on Hollywood's roster. Since Blue Crush Sanoe has selectively starred in four independant films. Rolling won the San Francisco and NY Film Festival Audience Awards. Half LIfe was recently accepted into the prestigious Sundance Film Festival 2008, and took home the Grand Jury Prize of the NY Gen Arty Film Festival creating quite the buzz for Sanoe with positive write ups in publications such as Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.
