| CLICK on the picture below to view my art website:I had no idea when I left my career as a marriage and family therapist due to a health crisis, art would become my central focus in life. Although I wove art into my interactions with clients for ten years, it was during this crisis that I became increasingly compelled to make art my own. Eventually, I came to realize that creating art revitalized me and I began painting full-time. I find myself intensely passionate about creating art yet aware of the struggle to describe what is essentially a silent process of following the present moment of creative inspiration. Sometimes my paintings reveal the power of balanced contrast or abundance of the dream state. Other times, I am inspired to create what tends to be dismissed- the essence of a feeling, or something familiar with a perceptual twist. I experience the variety amongst my pieces as differing notes in a musical composition. In truth, creating art brings me immense joy.
