About Me

I am the founder of The Urban Youth Empowerment Foundation, a community-based organization which uses innovative methods, including Hip Hop, to empowerment youth and create social change. You can check out the website by clicking here ...The Urban Youth Empowerment Foundation is now successfully going into its second year offering a Hip Hop culture education course for 7th and 8th graders at a school in Los Angeles. Teaching the culture of Hip Hop (and everything that it comes with!)for 5 periods Monday through Friday is an incredible experience. I sure wish I would've had a Hip Hop class in school when I was growing up! Being able to talk about Hip Hop as well as social issues, history, politics, and everything in between provides the students an opportunity to learn and discuss topics they may not ever get to talk about anywhere else, at least not at a regular school. Click to check out an interview I did for a dope website called Hip Hop Linguistics ...In any case, I am looking to network with individuals and organizations who have similar goals so don't hesitate to get at me. Also, I'm here to discover incredible artists. So, check out my music section and don't hesitate to hit me up. If you're the type of artist I like, I'll definitely add you. Also, if you have music that I can expose my students to, contact me. I'm trying to get them off their Clear Channel/Viacom diet!!!!!!!!
