The band is fronted by Jacob Smotherman and was originally formed as a self-indulgent creative outlet for Smotherman. Once the band was completed however, it became a beast of its own, and the name “Falling In Two” was created.

Falling In Two writes music on the edge of several genres, but the originally and sound although familiar, is written to sound like nothing else. The band as a group has many influences, but as a band are not influenced by anyone and is constantly working on material that is unique to them.

In January 2008, recording commenced on the band’s next series of tracks. Releasing the newest member "Your Daughter" in February. Throughout the year the band will be releasing additional tracks. Some of the new releases have been performed live, depending on crowd response will depend on if they make it to the studio or not.

The band recently joined forces with Opus Booking and Entertainment out of Atlanta Ga. This is in an effort to get the band performing all over the East Coast. Be watching and listening, Falling In Two is headed your way soon.
