About Me
COMPANY MISSION Tica Productions is a production company producing innovative, artistic works in both film and digital mediums. Tica Productions is also the founder of the LATINO SCREENPLAY COMPETITION, a screenplay contest with a purpose to cultivate a greater interest in Latino-themed stories and promote screenwriters of Latino-themed screenplays in Hollywood (www.latinoscreenplaycompetition.com). COMPANY FOUNDER S.J. Main of Tica Productions is a producer, director and screenwriter. Main has had the honor of working with internationally acclaimed artists including James V. Hart, Stanley Donen, James Ivory and Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks SKG. Main graduated from the School of TFT at the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her MFA in Directing from the Film Division of Columbia University in New York City. Currently, Main is completing post-graduate studies in Media and Communications with a focus on Film Production.
