EL RUBIO started playing the guitar at the age of seven. Since the age of eleven he dedicated himself to flamenco music, winning his first prize at a contest in Hamburg at 16. One year later, the press celebrated him as a prince who fell from heaven to enchant mankind. In his long standing career EL RUBIO composed a soundtrack for a movie, and had many solo appearances and concerts with various Flamenco groups in renowned halls such as "Alte Oper Frankfurt" and the famous Gasteig in Munich. Television and radio appearances followed. EL RUBIO appeared on numerous CDs and recorded his first solo album in 2004.
