| I'm the youngest of 3 kids & a military brat. I grew up mostly in Arkansas & Arizona. Today I'm a silicon valley geek. (And yes, that Weird Al video pretty accurately describes the place I call home.) My favorite candy is sour apple jolly rancher. My favorite beer is Negra Modelo with a salted rim & mexican limes. I make excellent mixed drinks. Did you know that your choice of cocktail reveals a lot about you? I'm sarcastic. I think too much. I believe people's actions mean more than their words. I've been described as "persnickety." Here's something a good friend wrote about me: "I'm glad you're in my life for dresses and silliness; glamour and hair wax; Mai Tais and munchies; honesty and Hawaii dreams. You put up with all kinds of spewage via e-mail and respond with an amazing mix of humor and empathy." This stuff is also true: Sometimes I come off as very serious & kind of intense. I'll seem shy until you get to know me. Then you'll wonder how you could have ever thought I was shy. I don't believe in doing anything half-assed. When I'm in, I'm all in. I'm restless & never happy with status quo. I want to consume every experience I can in life. I'm always looking for a new adventure & am happiest when I'm being challenged. For better or worse, I tend to feel things very deeply. I'm fiercely loyal & protective of those I love. Ever played that game TV Character Menage a Trois? TV characters tend to be one dimensional, so you have to combine at least 3 to make a real person. If I were the combination of 3 TV characters, they would be: Ginger, Maryann, and the Professor or possibly Daria, Jane, and Quinn (but like, only a sliver of Quinn, because I was like totally a cheerleader) I've got a blog on here.
