.. Ange Rose-Alice Saunders....singer,writer,guitarist,dj,and chef........... I have loved music,deeply always...My childhood was filled with beautiful songs,creating the soundtrack to my life...Woolshed parties with Supertramp and the Stones blaring.And quiet times with Neil Young and Stevie Wonder floating through the kitchen windows carried by the scent of freshly mowen lawn........ At school(Green Bay High),I picked up the guitar...Yes yes,this was it I say....Soon.I was asked,(on the back of the Huia bus)to join'Atomic Butterfly'.Fun!We rocked it!The days of the hall parties, and'Ten kegs,Ten bands,Ten bucks!.... I then went and lived in Texas for a year as an exchange student,and found myself emersed in the depths of the blues and country.With this inspiration I went back to NZ ,studied music@university,and Joined a Band called Coroblues.We toured alot,playing at summer festivals,and stinky pubs...... I then went to contempory music performance school stated playing solo,strumming away my original blues and folk inspired songs... Then,I discovered the joys of dance music.I found myself drawn to the decks,and the beautiful music that filled my soul to the brim. Now a self confessed vinyl junkie,I find myself behind the decks dj'in,singing over tracks,and mixing up soul,funk,jazz,disco,,house, hip hop,folk,afrobeat,reggae,latin.Whatever makes me feel..Love,inspiration,peace,togetherness,and spreading the good vibes around.. Now back in NZ,after six months away soaking up every beat and rhythym I could in London..Ready to play my new songs to you lovelies! Yuh! Tune into,www.georgefm.co.nz.96.8fm,Monday mornings,10-12pm,to hear what I got on the Soundivision,hosted by Dan Clark&myself,(Rose-Alice)aka,Ange Saunders... So,Im a bit of everything.. I love to sing and play my songs... I love to play my records,in the early morning glow...And in the afternoon,when nightfall has not yet begun... And into the night.... I'll make a cake too.... Im a real lucky girl,cause this life is flippen amazing!Thanks for the inspiration to live a life of satisfaction ....... Especially,My friends and family.
