I am a photographer...mostly of musicians and the beauty and sadness of every day life. I love to grasp the passion and creativity musicians have for their music...to capture their story in the stillness of one moment with a camera, light and paper...to create art.
Because of this love I created a business providing image consulting and development for individual music artist, bands, labels, music management companies and music studios. I photograph CD covers and provide CD artwork. One of my most recent jobs is photographing well known bass player Mel Brown for Fender. This image was used on the Fender website, Fender catalog and Mel Brown's CD cover.

I lived in downtown Chicago for 20 years and was a Creative Director for high fashion catalogs and advertising. I moved to Arizona 8 years ago and fell in love with the light. It is very different here just like Italy. I have loved to draw since I could pick up a pencil. I am fascinated by people and desire to draw and paint the deepest layers of their souls. We all have layers that we present and digging deep and revealing the deepest ones are what makes me want to create. I have a new series in a gallery here that has been described as a unique contemporary fusion of paints, chalk and lead producing several layers of depth that challenge and intrigue the eye. My eyes are always wide open looking for the next vision and when they are shut they are creating the next painting on the blank canvas of my mind. |
