Been working in television now for nearly 13 years, the last several as a newscast director. Started in Kearney, Nebraska, went to Waco, Texas, and now ended up here in KC. Aside from the Chiefs fans, it's not too bad a place! (at least they aren't husker fans - 12 years living and working in Kearney was plenty of that crap)

Music:Where do I even start? My tastes really run the gamut. The classics, of course (Floyd, Zeppelin, etc.), newer rock (Tool). King's X remains a personal favorite, and has been for years. Also a big Bruce Springsteen fan, his politics notwithstanding. If you're looking for a great album that showcases songwriting, I highly recommend Keith Caputo's "Died Laughing" - a truly wonderful listening experience. It's probably easier to give a general listing of styles of music I DON'T like - top of that list would be hardcore rap, death metal, and most country music. Not a big reggae/world beat music fan either.Here's a few of my favorites at the moment: |

Movies:Star Wars (all of them), any Eastwood western, particularly "High Plains Drifter" and "The Outlaw Josey Wales", Planet Of The Apes (1968, Charlton Heston - nope, no Marky Mark here)and all it's sequels, "True Grit", I'll have to add to this list as I go... and now, to lend support until it's release: |

Television:Chances are, if it's on TV, I'm gonna watch it. Occupational hazzard. Can't-Miss shows? OK...24, House, Lost, Survivor, CSI, Battlestar Galactica (the new version - best show on TV if you've not seen it) Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. "Deadliest Catch" gives me new appreciation for the cost of crab. Also love "American Chopper" and "Dirty Jobs". "Deadwood" is fairly entertaining, as was the brilliant, pre-maturely cancelled "Carnivale." "The Sopranos" is another favorite. Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken are 2 of the finest on Adult Swim. Also a big fan of M*A*S*H, Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K), Kung Fu, The Prisoner (awesome Brit SciFi from the 60's - check it out!)Glenn Beck's new show on CNN Headline News is hysterical, if you're into that sort of thing.
