All genres of music have found a place in my life, from broadway to jazz, blues, soul, country, swing, bebop, hip hop, rap, heavy metal, rhythm & blues, rock, alternative, classical, gaelic, world music and gospel. You name it, I have listened to it and been influenced by it. I have been influenced by performers through various mediums, either onstage, on TV, the internet or in life.Music trickles down into our consciousness and we each receive the message a little differently. We are the connection that makes music ever changing, an evolution of what has been before and what will come tomorrow. My songs are not only a reflection of my own experiences, but the experiences of others, those I have met and those who have effected me in some way.Emotions like love, passion, pain, anger, reflection and soul-searching. Simple things in life, watching a child play, a man or woman following a dream, the reality of growing older, heartache, death of a loved one, reading the news, natural disasters, injustice, walking in nature, laughing, a mother, a father, a child, or old person youth, rebellion, being silly or serious.
