| Supposedly, we're an "Old School Pop Punk" band. 3 people crawled out of holes, grew up, learned to "play" instruments, and made a "band" called I Forget. Sorta... I Forget formed in 2004 as Modern Noise, with Brittney Owens, Kyle Wagoner, and Willie Castillo, which changed after like 3 days cause the name sucked ass, to put it bluntly. The first rehearsal actually didn't happen until January of '05, which we consider the official birth of the band. Then we changed the band's name to Proceed with Caution, which gave us none less shame than the old one did. The size of the band increased from 3 to about 6 or 7, and then it all fell apart except for Brittney and Kyle. Then we named it I Forget on accident, because Kyle could not remember the "great idea for a band name" that he had. Shane Sours then joined the band, because he had always spoken with Brittney about his "dream to be in a band with her." So once Shane joined, progress started being made. The rise and fall of Proceed with Caution all took place in the span of about 2 months at the most. (Praise the Lord!) Now, we play shows more regularly, but the "first one" didn't really happen and if you ever bring it up, we'll kill you. That never happened. You heard nothing. Our first album, "We Ride!" is now available for everybody to own. Message us for details on buying, or come see me. Isabelle Shepherd also played saxophone on the album and plays "lead saxophone" live. She's proving that you don't need a second guitarist, you just need a saxophone player. Willie Castillo also has come back for about the 4th (and hopefully the final) time to be our guitar tech and help with equipment and sound. The "I Forget Family" is now up to 5 members. Thank you so much to everyone who gets our songs stuck in their heads and to all of the bands on Myspace that enjoy us and to everyone who buys and wears our shirts and CDs. We love you all and greatly appreciate all of our fans, even if there are only about half a dozen to appreciate. If you want to book us, message us.
