About Me
I took up guitar playing when I was about 17. Learned lots of chords and licks by listening to and playing along with records by Queen (whom I still consider the greatest band ever). Afterwards I discovered different flavours of melodic metal. The neverending story of practicing the guitar began... and still continues. I've been playing in quite some bands. Most of them even didn't make it to the stage of having a name, although a few got a little further (No Mercy, a metal cover band, and K-Daver, a "Flemish Rock" band). These days I'm guitarist in Valkyre , where I do some rhythm parts and most of the leads, and write songs. I got a day job in the ICT business In my spare time (that is: when not practicing, rehearsing or performing) I try to do some sports, like great food and drinks, very few tv, maybe some traveling,... the average stuff Some pics of me and my lovely girlfriend Silvia: Carnevale Venezia 2008

Music: Member Since: 3/22/2006 Influences: Progressive metal, melodic metal, power metal, good old 70's and 80's hard rock, symphonic rock, ... Instrumental guitar music, although only the quality stuff (Vai, Romeo, Loureiro,...) Film scores (Hans Zimmer, John Williams,...) classical music (Stravinski, Ravel, Rodrigo,...)
