Heroes:My grandfather who passed away almost a year ago! He was a tailgunner in World War II. He was shot down over Normandy! Survied there for 3 days thanks to a family who took him in and took care of him. He took my grandmother out of a bad family life and gave her a better one. He almost died a few other times but made it through. He went through a lot of health issues but always fought his way back. Unfortunately he couldn't fight anymore through the last one. He is my hero and he is very loved and missed by us all! My man is also a hero to me because he has been through a lot of bad things especially in the last year and has risen above it all and is back on his feet and going strong as always! |
