Hip hop sets the guidelines of what is acceptable and true. If you take that perspective then hip hop is so much more than a "culture" or "movement", it becomes something ingrained in your subconscious. I cringe at how morally weak and cosmetic the rap scenes have become, but that still hasn't shifted my faith in certain beliefs that i have held onto since day one. To me hip hop is my life. It's represented in every way- the way i walk, talk, dress, act, and think. I guess I am writing this as a testament. So when I look back at this I will never forget who I was.
