About Me |

| The Redfords is a band founded by singer songwriter John Gidlund. Teaming up with producer Greg Magers from The Attic Recording www.myspace.com/theatticrecording Gidlund recorded the first Redfords album entitled Miracle At Sunrise (Released 1/12/2008). Gidlund enlisted the help of the very talented drummer Jonathan Marks to lay down the drums on the album. Check out Marks band www.myspace.com/heychamp . For the live Redfords a few people have helped out on bass. Graham Burris is currently sitting in on bass. Check out his band www.myspace.com/matthewsantos . Johnny from the Playoff has also sat in for a show. Check out his band www.myspace.com/theplayoffmusic . The Redfords are currently doing a radio tour of Chicago and getting plays on Q101, 93.1 WXRT, 89.1 WONC, and Fearless Radio's local showcases. Along with the radio tour, The Redfords are playing some high profile shows in Chicago like the Elbo Room, Subterranean, and Goose Island.
