My Interests |
| I want to gain as much knowledge as I can about the solar system, the billions of other stars in our galaxy, and the billions of other galaxies in the universe, all the while helping to keep our ridiculously infinitesimal and insignificant (yet still fantastically beautiful) planet from being devastated by modern human civilization. I like music, too. | |
I'd like to meet:people with shameless myspace facades |
Music:anything that promotes love and/or understanding.------------some good examples: |
Movies:The Lord of the Rings, anything Quentin Tarantino does, but Pulp Fiction most of all, Wes Anderson's films are some of my faves, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Dumb and Dumber, Forrest Gump, Star Wars, Fight Club, Waking Life, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I Heart Huckabees, Sideways, City of God, Adaptation, Citizen Kane,The Matrix, all of the good comic book movies(the Spider-Man's, The X-Men's, Sin City, V for Vendetta, not stuff like Daredevil or Elektra.),Easy Rider, Cool Hand Luke, Donnie Darko, Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon, -------------and anything with these guys--- |
Television:don't do that much anymore. the mindless programming and constant barrage of advertising usually makes me feel like vomiting. i have the simpsons on dvd. that's enough. |
Books:Anything and everything Tolkien, especially The Silmarillion. Love some Hunter S. Thompson. Also that crazy bastard Richard Brautigan. I have hundreds of Spider-Man comics, among others, and anyone that says comic books aren't literature can eat feces(one word: WATCHMEN). Kurt Vonnegut is awesome. Watership Down is an amazing book that I don't think enough people have read. Siddartha is an extremely enlightening book. also, you should check out some Alan Watts. |
Heroes:Let's see... a hero of mine would have to have the proportional speed, strength and agility of a spider. I'm sure someone fits that profile, but I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.---------------------------------- and this guy |
