Kara's track Thank You PURE from her Paths X album was released April 2008 as part of Far East Peaches "Round and Round" compilation . The song "Colors of the Summer Sky" co-written by Kara Johnstad and Gunnar Spardel and sung by Kara Johnstad was released on Tiger Forest "Sounds of Life" album. 2007 Tiger and Forest and Kara Johnstad are working on a new collaboration for summer 2008! Kara works with the pop/rock band Fortunate Fools and has written many lyrics for their "hits!" They just finished recording their first studio album and it should be released in summer of 2008! I am excited! A great live band, be sure to check them out. Kara is incredibly inspired to work together on a new poetry / music project with Michael Justice and other talented musicians here at My Space. Yes, bringing more beauty into this world. STAY TUNED! Makato Sawai, a wonderful jazz musician based in Tokyo has contacted Kara this past month to write lyrics and sing on his next album. I have the tune in my i pod and am inspired to write a stunning lyric! Also, between Far East Peach and Makoto would be happy to visit Tokyo with my band. I do love SUSHI! Now Evan Paul has a very special place in my heart, because with Evan my internet collaborations started. He and I did the track together Because of You and it hit first place on the Jazz and Swing charts for many months in 2006 and 2007.
