| Guess u could say I'm a survivor..survived an abusive childhood (left home at 17 with nothing but the clothes on my back and a car I bought at a junkyard for $100), survived ovarian cancer scare in my 20s, a catastrophic car crash in my 30s and now I'm battling an allergic/immunesystem disease...still here. The good news is that it has made me who I am today and according to my friends, that would be a quiet, kind, gentle, patient person who cooks like Betty Crocker and looks like Snow White(personally I don't see it). Although, I wouldn't mind being a Disney Princess, that is, if the castle came with a cleaning staff, then count me in. I'm a farm girl at heart and I'm soooo lucky to have had a wonderful Grandmother, who in my opinion was a true fairy Godmother! She taught me everything that was important in life(most importantly, how to make a lemon sponge pie by the time I was 5). I'm nothing special but totally grateful for the wonderful life I have with my family. I'm proudly a member of the Moravian Church. I have two warm, wonderful kids and a Hubby who thinks I get up every morning and put the sun in the sky(ssshhhh...don't tell him!)What I know 4 sure...if you love someone, tell them, they really need to know, after all, YOU never know...there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for...being with those I love is enough...appreciate the small stuff, cuz when you get older, you realize the small stuff is actually the big stuff! |
