Laura is a dreamer amongst realists who doesn't know when to stop. Laura is a kind and giving Creature who can be unknowingly selfish at times. Laura wants world domination from the comfort of her bed and will procrastinate daily until she gets it. When Laura was a teenager she never thought she would turn eighteen, when Laura finally did she was at a terrible loss. Laura has lived many lives but she is not old (Nelly Furtado would agree) and when Laura has a bad day, it's now the positive she tries to look for first. To be human was to be godlike she often thought, after all we have the power to destroy and then re-build what wasn't quite working the first time. Humanity included. If more people took their lives in their own hands, maybe the death penalty wouldn't be needed... or would it simply take away another of our (god) like powers?A query: Now more than ever humans seem to be held accountable for almost everything that goes wrong in the world. There’s global warming and famines, extinction and everybody’s favorite- why the trains never run on time. Did this make us god like? If we are held responsible in the eyes of each another then we are ALL accountable too… Does how we feel about the world and one another really change things on a fundamental level?, can we really be the change we wish to see?, is it the light we posses that truly frightens us, not the dark?, also on a totally unrelated note- at what age will I cease to have purpose in my life? Ok now Laura was just rambling. Another thing Laura often thought about, was how in this day and age ignorance was truley a blessing; in that respect the only blessing Laura could be grateful of receiving was dementia (she had long ago forgotten the power of ignorance).When all was said and done and everything done had been said, or blogged, the one thing Laura did have going for her ''IN ABUNDANCE’’ (big up ''Frank 'n Furter’’) was her ability to change, re-arrange and re-emerge from the ashes like one of those Americas birds. However Laura had mixed feelings about America... and their f***ing birds. |
