| Pelle Moeld at Swedish national radio, P3, once compared a live-gig by ASSID to a basketball game. With energetic vocal-techno dance music have they been giving their audience a maximum live experience in a furious speed since the start in 2003. The quartet released the single "Habibi" in year 2005 at "Kleen Records" label. The single included a remix and and a cover version by the swedish electronica artist Firefox AK and got great reviews, "Habibi" became an underground hit in Sweden. After "Habibi", ASSID dropped their masks (masks and costumes used to be a common element in ASSID's live shows), became a trio, took a break from the live scene and started working on new material. The music has now gone from being rough electro style with punky anthems to a cleaner indie-techno sound, suitable for the dancefloor and still keeping the typical "ASSID-vocals". ASSID is now back on stage, their debut album is planned to be released during 2008 by the Swedish label K-Werks and promises beats, floorfillers, interesting collaborations and guest artists.
